Drama depicts the delicate relationship between female university student Hong Seol (Kim Go-Eun) and her senior Yoo Jung (Park Hae-Jin). i commend the director for (1) not going with the original webtoon (2) For making the drama real and relatable. I can't even put into words how I feel about this drama!!!! I prefer this drama than the movie, Seo Kang Joon justify the webtoon character of Baek Inho. am not yet done with this drama but from the comments i would say this drama deserves no award because after it starts on a good note focusing on Jung but later diverts to In HO IT makes no sense at all tthat this two Hong and Jung did not get their happy ending there is no sense in the film at all and no moral lesson this film is totally wack but i would say thank God Bae Suzy did not accept the role because we wouldn't have felt the emotion and besides Jung is too fine for her @cheezy The scene plot you describe for IN HO (how kind he is to Seol), in the comic, that scene was meant to be played by Yoo Jung. But in the end of drama I still hopes they make a remake or second season of this, I hope Baek Siblings and Jung be friend again.
Hong-Seol works part-time due to her family's poor background. I'm so tired of watching these unicorn storylines that are just good for the eyes and mind but not relatable in reality. Korean dramas need more of these female leads not naive damsels who are constantly in need of saving by their potential male suitors because lets face it, gone are the days when women were naive or in need of a man to save them (4)For not letting Seol end up with In Ho. Inha by Lee Sung Kyung was great too, crazy, violent chic. Hence why a lot of us a pretty annoyed that the PD and screenwriter swap it with In Ho so that In Ho ends up getting more scene time and PD was trying to make In Ho the "hero". I already watch it more than 4 times i think, and still not bored. It's just so sad seeing their past, when they are friend. I have recently come across material of this shows productjon problems and am saddened that the show was purposefully botched up.
The first thing when the drama end i feel unsatisfied because I can said goodbye for all characters but Jung. i love the plot story and how go eun and hae jin portray their characters. But for me, whether they end up together or not, as long as I/you/we enjoyed watching and loved their characters, it’s surely an awesome drama.
It feel like you are reading a book only halfway , I just catch a glimpse about his character but not all . But mature viewer will love Yoo Jeong, because what's the point in partner of life is "Someone who's you could shared your sadness not only your happiness". I can't believe how people can give this drama bad rating because of the ending naaah i would say that it could be soooo much better if they finally catch their eyes even though not getting back together but this makes me craved for season 2...pleeeease make the season 2 for this still with the same cast, unique and intense plot. I don't why Baek In-Ho gets more time than Yoo Jung on last couple episodes. It seems the director and PD forgot who's the main character. at first i didn't understand the story then i watched it whole again and i finally understand lol but it's really beautiful story. i automatically thought that yoo jung and seol met after yoo jung sent the email and they live happily ever after. The different types of hardship of the characters portrayed are all well played. The title "Cheese in the Trap" seems to refer to how Yoon Jung Sunbae (a fantastic Park Hae Jin) is a trap so hard to resist for our Mouse Seol(Kim go eun).
For me movie is not enough to collide the missing part about the two lead From philippines I still can't move on to this drama The PD is too cruel towarda park hye jin..
( i hate you pd) Those people who bash kim gu en, hello!!! Kim gu eun dont mind them, for me you are one of the best rising actress who is very flexible, you dont force yourself I can't help but compliment my love for every character.
The pd wants to throw / punch / kick frustration to the fans and she deliberately and brilliantly did it.i really enjoyed the time kim go eun with Seo Kang-Joon, rather than park min ji.i actually bored with the leads plot..This drama give me strange feeling, too boring, craziness...It is to Park Hae Jin credit that he has pulled off an unsympathetic character and lent it substance and likeability. He was also great in "Bad Guys" The support cast is superb and Baek in ho/ha standout. You definitely won't feel bored with every aspect of this drama.its my first time, when i feel like it would be best if the lead actress could end up with 2nd lead actors.Beside seol and yoo jung, the supporting characters are equally interesting.Such as the baek siblings, eun-taek, bo-ra, the influential parents of the 2 leads, and even every single mentally unstabe characters (young-gon, min-soo, sang-cheol) are all distinctly unique...Everything in life is a process and so is a relationship between two people, it takes a lifetime to perfect. Male leads are often portrayed as pseudo-gods, whose only flaws are caring too much and being so loving, this puts too much expectation on men as this is not unrealistic and unbalanced, but emotionally it cripples the viewer from accepting people who are deeply flawed and yet sincere and true to them So thank you to the cast, thank you to the screenplay writer and thank you to the director for such a beautiful depiction of college romance. Everything about this drama have something that got me so HOOKED. I've watched this series several times now hoping the ending would change. It would have been better if it had ended in Episode 14 where Hong Seol finally understands and accepts Yoo Jung. You must watch this drama, i highly recommend this drama!! even if there are some slow events i never got bored .. I have never encountered a protagonist like "Yoo Jung" and hats off to Park Hae Jin for the stellar performance in face of so many real difficulties I would like to give the benefit of doubt to the PD since she has never once botched up character stories (Coffee Prince remains an eternal favourite and is a shining example of a romance well done). That's why I want a season 2 with Baek In Ho's new love interest. Since i do not read the webtoon, i have no idea which things are different with the original webtoon.I've just watch this drama now and i must say it was ao beautiful. I hope they will be reunited and have a part 2 please ?? Just wanna ask why did you leave us hanging director Yoon-Jung?? Even just 1 special episode or movie that commences from the series' ending. The movie version was fine as it can be a stand alone story. @bunny: In ho was the one who's there with Seol when she is on hard times, remember when he made her laugh and stand for herself when her co-workers are purposely using her? Please respect others and don't call them immature just because you think so or you cheered for the opposite pair. i felt a real atmosphere/aura through these events .. i can't imagine someone else except Park Hye Jin for Yoo jung's role or another actress takin' Kim Go Eun's place with Seoul's role! Good thing a movie is coming out and hope it removes the bad aftertaste left for many viewers of this superb superb story! I never had a 2nd male lead syndrome before but the eff! I wanna bitch slap Yoo Jung so damn hard for being fcking manipulative and hug Baek In Ho so very tight to ease all his burden. The characters are well potrayed andthe plot is quiet good. After all the story in the previous episodes, the ending is not as good as what i expect.
